I am not qualified to be ranking soup, but face it, some are better than others.

7. Tomato Soup

Tomato soup ranks last because it is essentially WARM KETCHUP. No grilled cheese sandwich can save tomato soup, even if it is the fancier ~bisque~ version.

6. Chicken Noodle Soup

This may come as a surprise to most, as it is arguably their most famous soup. The noodles are too soft and I have personal beef with canned chicken. FACE IT.

5. Minestrone Soup

On a cold, fall day, minestrone hits the spot. Though not revolutionary by any means, minestrone is like pizza. Even bad pizza is good pizza.

4. French Onion Soup

Listen, I don't know if you're actually supposed to eat this plain or if you're supposed to just use it for cooking. Screw it. Though this lacks the best part of French Onion soup, i.e., the croutons and melty melty melty cheese, it is still pretty tasty. You can even add those things yourself if you are fancy. But if you are fancy, why are you consuming canned French Onion soup?

I have already expressed by distaste in chicken in a can, but somehow, this is different. Some tweaks have to be made though: add hot sauce, and add avocado if you are trying to be bougie...boujee...? Hell if I know.

Homegirl loves a carb, but especially in the form of a creamy, hearty soup. Specifically a chowder, but we will get to that.

Don't call me a hypocrite for saying canned chicken is gross when I willingly eat canned clams. Save your breath. This soup is delicious and as mentioned above, I love a creamy, hearty soup. Oyster crackers are a godsend.
