As fall arrives and brings us the greatest pleasures in life, you are bound to see the grinches and scrooges that want to rain on us fall-lovers’ parades. So, I concocted a list of things to do during fall in order to not be a scrooge or a grinch.
.) First and foremost, IF YOU SEE SOMEONE THAT OBVIOUSLY LOVES FALL AND IS EXCITED ABOUT FALL, DON’T RAIN ON THEIR FREAKIN’ PARADE.
.) If you see someone ordering a Pumpkin Spice Latte as soon as they are released, save your dirty looks and guffaws, because a.) they’re delicious and b.) WHY DO YOU CARE WHAT SOMEONE ELSE IS DRINKING.
.) If someone likes Halloween and is excited year-round for it, LET THEM BE THEIR SPOOKY SELVES.
.) If you see a girl rocking sweaters and boots when it still gets up to 80 degrees in the afternoon, DONT ROLL YOUR EYES. IT MAKES THEM FEEL CUTE AND COZY.
.) When you see someone drag their S/O to the pumpkin patch and they take adorable pictures, just give the damn picture a like. Maybe even comment a heart-eyes emoji.
.) When a pal posts about all the scary movies they are excited to watch, BE A GOOD FRIEND AND SAY YOU’LL BRING POPCORN.
.) When people argue about what Sanderson Sister they are from Hocus Pocus and someone else wants to be SJP, let them. Sarah Sanderson is definitely the funniest and who doesn’t love a girl that doesn’t like to skip a meal.
.) Pumpkin flavored desserts are delicious so stop being a hater.
.) Fall scented candles are the best and only come around ONCE A YEAR so when someone is lighting them at the first sign of falling leaves, take a deep inhale and ENJOY THE CINNAMON-Y PUMPKIN GOODNESS.
.) Fall means Thanksgiving. Give thanks for everything that you have and EAT. “Not pregnant, just eatin’ good” is my motto.
