What Community Service Opportunity Should You Take This Semester?

How confident, on a scale of 1-6, are you with making your own CS plans? (1 is low)

Consider what it takes to plan something with your friends!!

You should get involved with our local philanthropy, Epworth! Epworth Children's Home is a foster home in the Columbia area, and we get to volunteer there and mentor 9th and 10th grade girls. If you want to get involved, text Maggie at 662-801-4341!

Epworth!

Get involved with our furry friends in the Columbia area! Some options are Pawmetto Lifeline, the Humane Society, and Carolina Wildlife Care.

Animal Shelter!

Grab some gals and head over to a nursing home...create your own event if you want!! We can even make it a bigger event by stamping it as Chi Omega! Take treats and spend some time with that awesome population.

Nursing Homes!

You'd like to meet people, but you're not so sure about making your own event...head to the service saturdays page and get involved with other UofSC students who want to serve their community. No time like the present to check that out and make some new friends!

Service Saturdays!

Head on over to the Special Olympics of SC website to get involved with this incredible organization. You'll have to fill out some forms and become a full-fledged volunteer, but you know it will be worth it!

This is an underserved population in the nation, and they certainly have a presence in Columbia. You can volunteer with Hannah House, Family Promise, or any of the other homeless shelters/services in the area!
