Crystals No More. Spencer Pratt Has A New Obsession With Hummingbirds

Just Call Him a Hummingbird Hero

You heard it here first, folks. After finding a hummingbird nest in his backyard, the great Spencer Pratt discovered that the mother had abandoned the nest after another animal found it, leaving a new born baby behind. Being the wise crystal healer that he is, Spencer took the hummingbird into his home, put it in a box surrounded by pink crystals, and kept it until animal rescue came to take it. But the story doesn't end here.

The Return

You would think that the rescuing of the baby hummingbird would be the end of it's appearance on Spencer's Snapchat, but think again. As many of us Spencer Pratt enthusiasts were surprised to find, the hummingbird made a major comeback. Spencer requested that once the baby was big enough it be released back in his backyard in the hopes that it would one day be reunited with its mother. So, just a few weeks later, the baby bird was returned to Speidi's home to find the yard full of hummingbird feeders awaiting his arrival. Now, what kind of bird would leave such a luxurious home? Not this smart little birdie.

The Baby

If you're up to date with your pop culture, you know that Heidi Pratt is pregnant, but that is not the baby name Spencer is concerned with. After the newly rejuvenated baby hummingbird returned to Speidi's warm embrace, it was time to make him officially a part of the family by giving him a name. The name Spencer settled on? Allen.

Best Friends For Life

After some much needed TLC, Allen the hummingbird decided to stick around with his new best friend Spencer. Spencer continues to chronicle their friendship on his Snapchat, posting about their most tender moments from feeding Allen by hand to watching Allen bathe in the fountain.
