2.) Serena and Dan from "Gossip Girl"

Watching this show, you root for Dan, he's the quintessential underdog. Until it is revealed that Dan is, in fact, Gossip Girl. He manipulated Serena for years, and then the writer's decided it would be the perfect, fairytale ending for them to get married. As a teen, I was thrilled.

3.) Bella and Edward from "Twilight"

She was in high school and he was a 100 year old vampire who watched her while she slept...uninvitedly.

4.) Bella and Jacob from "Twilight"

He couldn't take no for an answer....and then fell in love with her daughter. And we were all like...."Well, he imprinted, there was nothing he could do about it."

5.) Meredith and Derek from "Grey's Anatomy"'

ABC

Yeah, I know I'm coming after everyone's favorite epic love story here. But he was a married, surgeon and she was a vulnerable, impressionable intern.

6.) Burke and Christina from "Grey's Anatomy"

For all of the above reasons and then some. Burke had tremors and made an intern perform his surgeries for him, completely compromising the education of all the other interns and nearly destroying Christina's mental health and career.

I could go on and on about this problematic relationship. But, I will limit myself to making one point: the only reason they ended up together is because Ross pressured her to give up her dream job in Paris so that they could be together.

This one truly hurts me to write. "The Vampire Diaries" is one of my all time favorite shows, but there must be no exceptions. He killed her brother, nearly turned her into a vampire against her will and they broke up and got together too many times for comfort.
