7 Times Michael Scott Was The Best Boss

As The Office's #1 fan, I am absolutely aware of how ignorant our beloved Michael Scott can be. However, if you look between the lines, you will realize that he actually was the perfect boss all along...

1. When he motivated and inspired his employees

Don't forget guys, for a moment there Jim sounded like he was actually going to give up on Pam!! Michael Scott is definitely our hero here.

2. When he made sure to always lighten up the mood

He might not have said the most appropriate jokes... but the mood was never dull at this paper company.

3. When he was brutally honest

He cared more about being honest than looking stupid, and that is actually a very admirable trait.

4. Whenever he had a dance party

From the booze cruise to Cafe Disco, Michael understood that dancing is always greater than working.

Okay, so maybeeee his team meetings weren't the most productive... but come on, these are meetings we would all like to be a part of.

He created the great film, Threat Level Midnight, and included all of his employees (who taught us how to do "The Scarn.") Then he used an entire work day for them to all watch it together.

7. When he calmed everyone down (except Creed) by playing a Murder Mystery game instead of working

He made sure that his employees were being taken care of, even during the hard times.

So, at the end of the day, he really was the best boss.

So, there you have it. Michael Scott was not a perfect human being (you know, because occasionally he will hit someone with his car 😉) but he was an incredible boss for our favorite paper people.
