•5 Technology licenses and 2 commercializations

Some of his inventions include

Entraview- a low cost portable ENT endoscopy device sub licensed out to a large medtech company (Medtronic) in 2014. The device has been used by health workers to screen Ear diseases in over 200,000 patients in rural parts if India so far.

Thorashield - a safer pleural tapping device licensed out to Mecmaan healthcare in 2013 has been in the market to remove pleural fluid from patients with Tuberculosis of the lungs since early this year.

Sinucare – A low cost and easy to use Balloon Sinuplasty system commercialized in December 2016, is now the simplest way to treat chronic rhinosinusitis (1 in 8 Indians have CRS as per NIAID) in India. So far 200+ ENT specialists have been trained & certified in the new procedure and over 50 ENT specialists are actively using the device.

To help spread awareness beyond workshops and fellowships, Jagdish has delivered 80+ invited guest lectures/talks at various healthcare events nationally and internationally covering a cumulative audience base of over 10,000 people.

He has also authored a book called "Inventing Medical Devices - A perspective from India" to help entrepreneurs access information/insights on inventing new devices in India reflecting back on his anecdotes of failures, challenges and experiences from venturing into that field. This is the first book on Indian medical device development in India and was a best seller on amazon.in under medical technologies for over a year. Over 10,000 copies of this book have been sold/donated to medtech professionals and entrepreneurs.

3. Meet Jagdish, The Comedian

Jagdish has been performing as a theatre artist since the age of 5 and been on 100+ plays/productions.

He has a very active YouTube Channel where he performs public stand up comedy called The Magaa of small things which has a cumulative view count that exceeds 2 million.

He recently started a charity campaign called #standupfordepression – A unique stand up comedy show to raise funding for Depression care. This show will be performed on June 3rd, 2017 and will give all the proceeds to NIMHANS for promotion of Depression care in the community. The event is sponsored by Deccan Herald and NIMHANS and the material focuses on mistakes and failures in order to change the stigma towards failures.
