My Thoughts Of The 5th Episode Of "The Falcon And The Winter Soldier"

Last warning! This post contains spoilers of the new TFATWS episode!

1. Sam and Bucky VS John Walker

I have been waiting SO long for this moment! Of course it didn't happen at all under the circumstances I imagined but I truly think it was an important scene, we can very clearly understand how John changed after taking the serum and the great strength he gained (he actually broke Sam's wings!).

I was literally crying at the end when Sam tries to clean with his hand Cap's shield that is covered in blood... In that moment I think Sam was heartbroken, seeing Steve's shield in that condition was hard for him and possibly even for Bucky.

2. Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine

I have no idea whatsoever of who this character is but one thing I know for sure, this is bad news. Val approaches John with confidence and is straightfoward with him, she somehow knows he took the serum (confirming to us what we all already suspected) and she tells him she is the best thing that has happened to him... I truly don't know what to expect next but Val is a real game changer.

3. Zemo and Bucky in Sokovia

This scene is actually one of my favourite! There is obviously tension between the two of them but now I honestly believe that Zemo in this series is not one of the bad guy. Now that Bucky is completely changed he shows it even to Zemo by not killing him. It seems like they sort of made peace to each other and that was really admirable.

4. Isaiah talking about his past :(

This scene is extremely touching, Isaiah is been through a lot in his life and he gives Sam a severe piece of his mind. He talks about his past and all of the troublesome experiences he lived. In the TFATWS series the topic of racism is one of the main theme, in my opinion this is a wonderful thing because, even if it is in a small part, raising awarness about this issue is fundamental to make people understand the gravity of the current situation.

5. Boat fixing!

This was one of the purest scene, Sam is helping Sarah and suddently Bucky shows up and starts helping out too! This duo is just hilarious, even in the tough moment they just make us laugh out loud! ("I'm right-handed" kind of stuff...)

I loved the energy created and even the little but innocent flirt between Bucky and Sarah, it was an amazing scene. Sam and Bucky's friendship is, even if they would deny it, one of the most genuine in the entire MCU.

Their final talk was a marvelous one, they deeply care for each other and they finally (kind of) admitted it.

6. I LOVED THIS!

Sam training with the shield was so powerful! I desperately want to see him use it in action and I'm glad he decided to practice with it!

7. The mystery box...

In my opinion inside that box there is a suit, maybe even Cap's one, but I of course don't know for sure...
