What Alabama Hall Staff Member Are You?

You got Isaac! You probably enjoy long walks around Goodwill or the bread aisle of Publix and your and your significant other are major relationship goals. On first sight, you appear as a warm and fuzzy teddy bear, but once people get to know you, they’ll see you for who you truly are: someone who is passionate about getting to know others and teaching people about every form of art - all while making sure that people respect you and your interests. You sometimes disappear into the Burlington Road Building in the name of theater, but bread and the Bamaly always bring you back to the hall.

Isaac Andrade

You got Pratik! You really love to toss discs by day and shade by night. You’d like to think that you have a demeanor reminiscent to “the cool jazz stylings of Duke Ellington, embellished with a little flair of Trombone Shorty” (Rout 2016). But really, you’ve got energy for days and only half of that is from caffeine and energy drinks. You easily get along with the people around you and people are just naturally drawn to your enthusiasm and charisma. You have academic goals, but you know your true calling is to motivate others to get big.

Pratik Rout

You got Matt! Your sweet:wise:tall ratio is 1:1:1, but your number one will always be your pugs. Your not-so-secret party trick is a deep, soulful voice that makes any announcement special. You love musical theater and although you don’t burst into song and dance, you will always burst into someone’s life to lift their spirits. You deeply care about everything you do and the impact you make on people and will always make the greatest effort to make others feel included and at home.

Matt Witkin

You got Alicia! You are a natural-born leader, but always remember to let others shine. Despite your 1000 positions on campus, you would drop everything to help out the people around you even if it means making sacrifices yourself. Your strong faith and ability to see the good in others characterizes who you are. Although you seem to have a SERIOUSLY unhealthy obsession with the Mannequin Challenge and making Residence Life music videos, you are always 100% committed to everything you do because you’re never shy to go the extra mile.

Alicia Johnson

You got Marissa! You have the presence of a queen, the energy of someone who’s had 57 ½ Sour Patch Kids on an empty stomach, and the soul of the deepest amongst us. When people first meet you, they know that you just epitomize the word “cool”. You love bringing happiness and joy to other people - that’s what you do best. You are such a fantastic person with your talent to truly listen to people and desire to help the world - and don’t even recognize how much you’ve made a positive impact on those around you. But perhaps the greatest talent of all is your ability to be open about who you are.

Marissa Zampino

You got Maddy! You are a ray of sunshine and a source of joy for everyone around you. There is never a dull moment with you around because you are the life of the party. Sometimes, you may not understand the simple things - like how 12:00 PM is actually noon rather than midnight - but that doesn’t mean that you can’t get complex. Your sweet demeanor never masks your strong core because you know how to fight for what you believe in and will always seek after what’s right.

Maddy Zapata

You got Wei Wei! You genuinely care about others and it is evident in the fact that people always feel comfortable coming to you for anything - life advice, deep conversations, or emergency food supplies for Hurricane Matthew. Even though you look like a five-year-old and still watch copious amounts of anime, you are capable of turning your dreams into reality because your drive and dedication are what helps you succeed. Your artistic ability to write and create is only equal to your desire to help others in need and the connections you make during that process are always honest and long-lasting. You have the ability to achieve anything you want - we’re all just waiting for it to happen.

Wei Wei Chen

You got Nora! You love to dance your way through life’s ups and downs, but you also have a game face when the going gets tough. You’re not afraid to blaze trails to advocate for what you believe in. You know how to work everything you wear, from the fiercest outfit to Sunday homework night sweatpants. You tend to swear like a sailor and can’t keep your Facebook statuses from being hacked, but that’s okay because you are a god/goddess and the world is just waiting for you to conquer it.

Nora Elmubarak

You got Grace! You’re as sharp as your outfits and won’t let anyone take you for granted. You know what you want and how you can get there so you’re unstoppable when it comes to your goals. You live and breathe make-up and Organic Chemistry and Korean, but at least you’ll look fabulous when you take your finals. You hold the knowledge about Life 101 that everyone missed out on and are always willing to share your expertise. Your honesty is what makes you special and people know to come to you whenever they need a dose of reality.
