So, can you raise your hand if you're one of those people that think that Disney Channel has no good shows anymore? Well, look no further! It's the show Andi Mack, a show geared for tweens about the life of the character Andi, portrayed by actress Peyton Elizabeth Lee.
The show centers around characters Jonah, who is Andi's major crush, Bex, who is Andi's older sister and early on turns out to be her mother, Celia, Andi's grandmother, and Cyrus and Buffy, Andi's two best friends.
At the beginning of season 2, both Andi and Jonah begin to get close with each other in a romantic way. Cyrus is later seen with Buffy at a diner. Immediately upon entering the diner, Buffy notices that Cyrus is tense, and attempts to help him out by making a joke, to which Cyrus then rejects.
Buffy says that Cyrus is scaring her, to which he replies, "I'm scaring me too". Once again, Buffy demands Cyrus tell her what's going on. Cyrus then confesses that while he's happy that Andi is finally getting the boy of her dreams, he's also not happy, much to Buffy's confusion. She asks if Cyrus is jealous, which he nods his head yes. Buffy then asks Cyrus if he likes Andi, which he replies no to.
Buffy then asks Cyrus if he likes Jonah. AND THAT, LADIES AND GENTS, IS WHEN DISNEY CHANNEL MAKES HISTORY: CYRUS COMES OUT TO BUFFY AS LGBT, SAYING YES.
Cyrus then tells Buffy that he feels weird and that he feels different, to which Buffy replies, "Cyrus, you've always been weird, but you're no different". They then say that they're glad they told each other, and end on a happy note. ((((((:
Naturally, people were excited.
