Promising review: “You need this! I am a magnet for bites of all kinds and carry topical and medicines with me at all times – so I figured this would be a good product to see if it really works. It arrived Monday, and Tuesday morning I woke up with a bug bite on my arm. I used this little tool (3 x per the instructions) and documented with photos. Immediately after using, it stopped itching! And less than 24 hours later the bump/bite gone! There is a very faint red mark from using the thing but a small price to pay IMO. Bottom line: it’s awesome. I’m carrying it with me everywhere!” —Rebecca

Promising review: “Definitely works! I have been using these for two years now. I live on the Gulf Coast of Florida, where the mosquito is the state bird, and the no-see-ums are their angry cousin. And they seem to find me right away. Always. I literally would have to cover my arms and legs in 80+ degree weather to keep from being devoured after dusk. I light one about 5–10 minutes before I’m ready to chill outside, and they’re AWESOME! Yes, there’s only eight to a pack, but they burn so slow, I extinguish it in a can of sand before I’m ready to head indoors, and light it up again at the next outing. One will usually last around four or five lightings for me. I definitely recommend for those who are unfortunately prone to being a target for those blood sucking, irritating, ha-ha-you-can’t-hide, evil insects.” —Sunny V.

Promising review: “Our home was infested with fruit flies. As a household of minimal fresh produce and a mostly nitrate-rich menu, we were confused and horrified when these tiny, evil bastards took over our house. These apple jobs are LEGIT. Within an hour or less, they had captured a good amount of flies. I just bought more.” —MotherofChaos

Promising review: “My husband said I'm having way too much fun with this bug zapper, and he's probably right. I live in Texas and the flies are terrible this year. Your door opens for five seconds and 20 flies come in. Perfect for indoor use. Perfect for outdoor use. May freak out your dog once you actually zap one. Can't zap yourself (or your husband) because trust me, I tried.” —Stephanie H.

Promising review: “We bought this for a rather large umbrella over our table in the back yard, and used it for the first time last night. We were less concerned about mosquitoes because we have a service to eliminate them – it's the bees that were disturbing our outdoor meals and events. My wife hosted a few friends last night, and they all fell in love with this. They've all been fighting with bees lately, and they were not bothered once by any bugs. Every friend bought the netting on the spot – you're welcome to the company that manufactures this product. Also, when you're inside the netting sitting on chairs, it's almost as if the netting is invisible – most of the time you can't tell whether it's even there, especially at night. We have the black version. I would highly recommend this product.” —Sara Olshansky

Promising review: “This stuff works fantastic. It lasts for hours and no chemical smell. It has a definitely lemon smell, but not like furniture polish lemon smell. No bites and I was out for about three hours. Bugs didn't bug me at all and no DEET. Would need to reapply if you’re getting in and out of the water – just keep that in mind. Mosquitos LOVE me so if it works on me it should work on anyone.” —Gina Central

Promising review: “Effective, easy to use and fun colors. I wear a few at once (both wrists and ankles) because I'm super sensitive to bug bites. Literally saw a bug flying towards my wrist and turned around after smelling the bracelet from a few inches away. Have not been bitten since I started wearing theses about eight days ago. Then, this morning I forgot to wear them while in the yard and was bitten in two places! Lesson learned! These work better than any repellent spray I've tried.” —Big Bird

Promising review: “I took this with me to the Peruvian section of the Amazon rainforest. I was staying in a hut in the middle of the Amazon during rainy season with swarms of mosquitos and other uncomfortable biting bugs. Most of my colleagues were unprepared during this rainy season and were getting eaten alive by mosquitos and ysango/chiggers. I was using this lotion bar religiously and had the most minimal damage (two or three mosquito bites the first week compared to hundreds on some of my colleagues). I'm so grateful for this product. I stayed in the Amazon for almost a month and used up almost the whole bar (I literally slathered it on my body the entire time). Next time I'll bring more because I started rationing it out to my colleagues and god, it's good. 100% recommend.” —Sacred
Promising review: “Fungus gnats are evil. These traps contain that evil. A few months back I purchased and brought home a jade plant from a garden show. Unfortunately, I did not realize it was infested with fungus gnats which then spread to all of my other plants and multiplied. I always see them flying around my plants – but they also love to fly around my face and eyes. These suckers were everywhere. I was killing at least ten to fifteen a day, but since they are so small they often escaped me. I saw the good reviews for these sticky traps and decided to try them. It's been around a month now and these traps definitely got my fungus gnat infestation under control. There's probably a hundred total now on the traps I've put down. I don't see them flying around as much and sometimes go a day or two without seeing one at all. I am pairing these traps with some mosquito bits in my water to kill the larvae, and I think this is the right way to go about eliminating them altogether. The traps also don't look horrible since they are in cute shapes. Definitely recommend these traps for fungus gnats!” —b

Promising review: “Highly recommend! I’ve been a tent camper, but decided to try hammock camping since I heard it can be cooler than tents for hot nights. I have the Wise Owl double hammock that’s going 1 yr strong of constant use, so I decided to stick with Wise Owl for the bug net and rain tarp. The bug net is more affordable than other hammock brands too. Set-up is so incredibly easy and I watched their short YouTube video on it before using it. I’ve used it for multiple overnight camping and it’s been wonderful. The mosquitos and horse flies during the summer are relentless, but I’m safe inside my hammock. This set-up is also better than the hammocks that come with a bug net sewn onto them as those tend to sink onto you. This stays propped away from me all the way around. I thought the material would be a little rough, but it’s actually very soft to the touch.” —Lee

Promising review: “The only bug bite relief balm we will ever buy! We have purchased this and repurchased this product multiple times. If we ever get a bug bite, specifically mosquito bites, which happen often where we live, we immediately apply our Badger bug bite balm stick to the bite and instantly the itch and swelling go away. It is safe enough that our children have their own sticks and they love applying it themselves. We have them in backpacks, purses, drawers, and the car. This product is truly a lifesaver for our family when bug bites occur.” —customer

Promising review: “I have already gone through a pack of 20 and have seen well over 200 flies lose their lives to these. For effectiveness, it is all about where you place them. I had one on each panel of my sliding glass door. The stationary half captures the most, so now I place two on that side and none on the other. With the front door, I also have one, and it has done great. I tried one in the kitchen to no avail, so I use the apple cider vinegar and dish soap there. In the bathroom, I placed one to the side of the mirror and it did nothing, I then put it closer to the faucet and it has not caught several. I would suggest moving them around to find the best locations for them in your house. They have made a huge difference to the fly population around our house. They don't smell and they are not unsightly until flymageddon is all over them. This is definitely a 5-star product!” —David S.

Promising review: “This stuff is awesome. Works like a charm. We have a huge tick population explosion in central Wisconsin this spring and early summer. My dog runs free on the weekend on our property, into wooded areas. I was pulling 10-20 ticks off of her daily. She's on a consumable Flea and Tick medicine, but it wasn't a repellant. I confirmed with the Merck that this product was safe to use in combination with their product. I started using this product on my dog every morning and the ticks all but disappeared from her after being outside all day. I also use it on our bedding and blankets to keep the ticks away – and it smells great! I highly recommend this product.” —Mike Steinhoff

No nasty spray coming out either! It just quietly does its thing. Great value for the money.” —Susan Armstrong

Promising review: "Well, this works. A little too well. We knew we had a fly problem (thanks to new neighbors that have questionable horse care practices) But, WOW did we REALLY have a fly problem. The first day, this caught a few flies, but what happened over the following week was simply unbelievable. The more flies that got stuck in it, the more flies it seemed to attract. By day 4, there were so many flies that the entire bag was BLACK. My husband walked up and took a look and said, ‘That's pure Hell in a bag right there.’ We just hung a new one. Let the exorcism commence.” —KachinaDesigns
