This is Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice. And this is how we think of her now — a legitimate fashion designer with a critically acclaimed collection; she's the epitome of Vogue magazine.
She is an unemotional queen of class and cool.
1.But, if you watch Spice World now, however, you may be shocked by how embarrassing Posh was.
2.Watching Posh on the screen, it's almost impossible to think that the Victoria Beckham we know today would allow for this to happen:
3.I mean. Her facial expressions are so painful.
4.Her acting was the also worst of the girls. (Which actually worked to her advantage in a camp movie.)
5.Look at this moment during the alien scene. You can FEEL the fear. That Victoria is so desperately trying to feel.
6.Seeing her try to play sexy is also strangely uncomfortable.
7.Oh, Posh. I'm so sorry.
8.Seeing Posh dance with enthusiasm also somehow seems wrong.
9.Naturally, no one would expect Posh to participate in basic training. But this is just ridiculous.
10.As is this dress. (Note the doggy tag necklaces, too.)
11.Look at this eye roll. She really can't win. Have fun=look weird. Act like Posh=cringe.
12.Let us not forget that almost every word out of her mouth in this movie is highly superficial. Which made her seem like a weird outsider.
13.While reminiscing about the past, Posh of course needs to seem serious, but also still luxurious. So she does her thinking in the bath, another moment of pure cheese:
14.But back to Posh's dancing. We really need to look at her "freestyle" moves because what on earth is she even doing?
15.What is this move? It's like an awkward, yet cheery, Charleston?
16.And this. This is so awkward. She seems so alone, too.
17.But let's not forget about Posh's moment of glory — the bus driving scene. She's really embracing comedy here, no?
18.In conclusion, if Spice World teaches us anything about Posh, it's that we'd forgotten (or never even realized), that she was actually totally awkward. Which might make her the most human of the Spice Girls.
