Spring break offers a welcome reprieve from the barrage of homework, sports practices, and early mornings. However, it is easy to fall into a trap of sitting on the couch, watching Netflix, while the days fly by. Break out of this habit and make the most of spring break by exploring a new hobby and trying different things right here in KC.

Up for a challenge? Apex climbing gym allows participants to push themselves by trying a form of freestyle rock climbing called bouldering. Climbing up the walls will test physical and mental boundaries. Apex offers a challenge for any athletic ability, with routes for every skill level. Besides the bouldering walls, it also has a “Ninja Warrior” training course, featuring obstacles found on the show “American Ninja Warrior,” including a warped wall.

Perform exciting moves while also having fun talking and laughing with friends and classmates. Learning 2 Fly emphasizes developing confidence and body-positivity, and has one rule: to never say “I can’t.”
