Which Georgia Trail Should You Explore This Weekend?

How much travel time do you have (with Rollins as the reference point)?

Anything special you'd like to see on your hike?

A short walk from Rollins, Lullwater Preserve houses a number of easy to moderate trails. If you're partial to pavement, stay on the paved trail, otherwise - veer off into the woods for a little more adventure. Along the way you'll find a lake, small waterfall and a suspension bridge. This serene little gem is perfect for dog-walking, biking or running.

Lullwater Preserve

Only about 25 minutes from Rollins, this is the farthest you'll feel from the city while still staying close. This 2 - 6 mile trail gives some elevation, a summit or two and breaktaking views of the Chattahoochee River. Bonus: there is a gorgeous bamboo forest along the way that is a must-see!

East Palisades Trail

This trail is no joke, but is so worth it. Get ready for an all day event on this four mile and about four hour hike. You'll be hiking on the floor of one of Georgia's most beautiful waterfalls - Tallulah falls!

Tallulah Gorge Floor

Stunning views from the highest point in Georgia! Although this steep three mile (there and back) trail is not an all day adventure, it's situated near a number of other awesome hikes on along Appalachian trail. Make this a pit stop in your North Georgia hiking.

Brasstown Bald Trail
