Colour theory has then expanded into personality testing tool by Swiss psychologist Dr. Max Lüscher who discovered the unconscious mind can reveal the person as they really are, by choosing a combination of 8 colours. Want to try it out?

Colour healing, known as Chromotherapy, can be implemented in a number of ways. The ancient alchemists built great halls of color healing, where individuals entered and were bathed in light that was filtered through various colored glass panels or windows.

In ancient Egypt, people were often dipped in vats of colored pigment, in order to help effect a cure. Or grind up of crystals and gemstones that could be ingested. (Don't try this at home).

The "colour cure," devised by physicians in an asylum on Wards Island, involved putting mental patients in rooms dominated by a "primary color."
