INGREDIENTS
⅓ cup Aperol
1 ¾ cup ice
1 cup 13th Street Winery Burger Blend Rose
Soda water, to top
Garnish:
½ grapefruit
PREPARATION
1. Start by making your grapefruit garnish. Preheat your oven to 225 degrees. Place your thinly sliced grapefruit on a parchment lined baking sheet, then put into the oven for 3 - 3 ½ hours. Remove and allow to cool completely.
2. To make the drink, add the aperol, ice, and wine to a blender. Blend for a few seconds to combine, but maintain an icy consistency. Divide amongst two glasses, then top each glass with a splash of soda water to top. Garnish with a slice of the dehydrated grapefruit. Enjoy immediately!
