Beltran is a man of many mysteries and a shapeshifter. His shift of choice is a crow. Beltran is fiercely loyal, though to who, nobody knows. He holds his heart and his secrets close to the vest. He is as clever as they come and an excellent strategist and manipulator. There is nothing he wouldn’t do to save the ones he loves.

Grey has been hurt and abused his entire life, but he doesn’t let that destroy his heart. His kindness comes from his suffering. He is loyal, shy and strong willed. Grey loves all things paranormal and dreams of escaping to a world more fantastical than his own. As a Venator, Grey’s physical gifts are extensive. Don’t get in a knife fight with this guy.

Rune is honest, straightforward, tough as nails, and drowning underneath the expectations of others. She struggles to put her own needs first and pays for it. But she puts on a good face; no one would know she was anything other than happy. All she wants is a normal life with the ability to make her own choices. But, she’s a Venator which means heightened abilities and responsibilities in a world that is anything but normal. Climbing is her specialty.

As a Venshii—a hated half breed—Tate has been at the mercy of others his entire life. Now it’s time to take the reigns. He is the toughest fighter around, regardless of combat style—fighting skills have kept him alive. Tate is a lot smarter than he lets on; his only real weakness is his family. He would make a deal with the devil to save them…and he has. Tate’s loyalties will lie wherever they need to be to protect those he loves.

Verida is a vampire and one tough cookie! She is fun, bright, sassy, confidant, and can talk her way out of trouble. If the talking fails, she can kick your ass seven ways to Sunday. But Verida is also motivated by revenge. She’s put so many pieces into motion that juggling them all is getting out of hand. Though she tries to pretend like she’s as tough on the inside as she is on the outside, Verida has a fragile heart and it’s been broken more than once.
