Kylie Minogue and British actor Joshua Sasse have announced that they are engaged, six months after they began dating.
The announcement was placed in the forthcoming marriages section of The Telegraph on Saturday, but came as little surprise after the Australian singer was pictured wearing a large diamond ring at the NME Awards, just days earlier.
It is thought that they may have got engaged during a skiing holiday at Christmas.
Minogue and Sasse met in September after she made a guest appearance in American musical comedy Gallavant, in which Sasse stars.
Three months later Minogue said that she had "a love in my life, which is just a beautiful thing," during an appearance on BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs.
There is a 19 year age gap between Minogue, 47, and Sasse, 28.
"I think the general consensus is, we kind of look right together," she told an Australian radio station. "So even though on paper it might not look right, it just is right."
She went on to describe him as "an absolutely brilliant, brilliant guy.
"Even if I try and act cool and natural, it's written all over my face that I am very happy."
