Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Has Finally Explained What Was In That Infamous Fanny Pack, And It's Not Exactly Shocking

"In the world of pro-wrestling in the '90s, everyone had a fanny pack."

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's infamous throwback fanny pack photo is the stuff of internet legend. You've seen it at least a million times now.

For years, we've all wondered: What was he keeping in that fanny pack, anyway?

Well, the wait is over because The Rock has finally revealed all.

The actor and legendary wrestler was posed the question on E! News' Daily Pop, and he obliged in revealing one specific item in the pack: Phone numbers. (Presumably for calling people up for dates.)

Yes, there was a time in which you had to write phone numbers down and have them somewhere other than your phone. It was a huge pain.

Dwayne also said there was other "stuff like that" in the fanny pack, including "a lot of inappropriate things I can't mention right now."

This isn't the first time that The Rock has gestured towards the origin of his fanny pack — sorta.

In the Young Rock episode "Check Your Head," young, uh, Rock (played by Uli Latukefu) rocked (sorry) the outfit at a party, and revealed that he was keeping some cash in there, too.

Who knows — maybe one day we'll find out the full contents of the fanny pack. Until then, we're stuck guessing!
