Sometimes, men do certain things that just give anyone who sees it the absolute ick.
U/Beneficial-Memory598 recently asked the people of Reddit, "What makes a man instantly unattractive?" Male-identifying people all over, take note:
1. "Being rude to people for no reason."
2. "A man who can't clean up after himself drives me up the fuckin' wall."
3. "Dishonesty. I've noticed the guys I come across like to 'sell' themselves to appeal to what I want in a man. By doing this, it starts a trend of compulsively lying. Just be yourself, and if we're not compatible, then we aren't. 🤷♀️"
4. "When he only treats women well if he finds them attractive. I know so many guys who are only helpful or nice to the 'hot' women. They won't even look at you if they don't want to fuck you. I once caught feelings for a guy I used to work with who had a super-friendly personality and went out of his way to help everyone regardless of who it was. He didn't act like a fool just because he was talking to a pretty girl."
5. "An attitude in which enjoying anything 'feminine' would make them gay, so they can’t even remotely enjoy it. My dude. You know what else is feminine? A vagina. Go away."

6. "Narcissism."
7. "Any guy who describes himself as traditional. That's code for, 'I will make limited to no contribution in household responsibilities.'"
8. "Drowning in a super strong fragrance. Dudes, don't overdo it!"

9. "A lot of people tend to think that women like extremely assertive men. Obviously, I can't speak for everyone, but in reality, many women would just think, 'Who the fuck does this guy think he is,' and not want to talk to you again."

10. "If they talk about their exes a lot."
11. "Excessive self-pity and a 'Woe is me' attitude. Especially when they make their issues everyone else's issues. We all have our issues, and it's perfectly fine to ask for help or vent about issues you have. Men should talk about their emotions. But constantly complaining about everything, never accepting help, and never working on self-improvement just annoys me."
12. "Anger issues. Go to therapy."
13. "Smoking."

14. "Sandals and knee-high socks."
—u/Sky-876
15. "Homophobia."
16. "Long fingernails."
—u/blondina1
17. "One time, a man flashed £1,000 at me in a club, and I was instantly annoyed. I hate the arrogance that can sometimes come with people who have money."
18. "If he asks for nude pics or vids."
19. "'Hey, you into crypto?'"

And finally...
20. "Misogyny."
