Kristin Davis has obviously occupied a spot on popular culture's Mount Rushmore — specifically, the original cast of Sex and the City — for decades now.
In a recent interview with the Telegraph, Kristin got real about the cosmetic surgery she's had over the last several years, and how the public reception to her changing look has made her feel.
Kristin explained that her reason for using fillers was that it's "hard to be confronted with your younger self at all times. And it’s a challenge to remember that you don’t have to look like that. The internet wants you to — but they also don’t want you to. They’re very conflicted…”
Kristin explained that, after using Botox for the first time, she “didn’t do anything else for a long time” before using fillers.
“I have done fillers and it’s been good and I’ve done fillers and it’s been bad,” she explained. “I’ve had to get them dissolved and I’ve been ridiculed relentlessly. And I have shed tears about it."
"It's very stressful," she added before mentioning that people personally blame us when it goes wrong,” rather than the doctors who performed the procedures.
Kristin also said she's had work done on her lips — and that it took a minute for her inner circle to be honest with her about how her lips actually looked.
“No one told me it didn’t look good for the longest time,” Kristin said. “But luckily I do have good friends who did say eventually. The thing is, you don’t smile at yourself in the mirror."
"Who smiles at themselves in the mirror? Crazy people.”
