Yikes, People Are Apparently Calling For Tommy Lee And Pamela Anderson To Get Back Together — Here's How Tommy's Wife Brittany Furlan Responded

"They act like this is all new. They’ve been separated for a long time, even before I came along. It was just odd to deal with a lot of that stuff."

This post contains discussion of domestic abuse.

Unless you've been living under a rock your entire life, you're more than likely aware that Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee were an on-and-off thing for quite a while.

The pair married in 1995 and divorced in 1998 — the same year that Tommy was sentenced to six months in jail for spousal abuse. They both claimed to have been occasionally seeing each other for a brief spell in the late 2000s, too.

In a totemic sense, Pamela and Tommy's relationship has nonetheless endured in popular culture at large. Just last year, there was an entire Hulu limited series based on their relationship and their stolen sex tape.

Meanwhile, Tommy has been married to comedian Brittany Furlan — who was recently accused of leaking private text messages between Tommy and Pamela — since 2019.

Earlier this year, Brittany also joked that Pamela wouldn't care if she died in a since-deleted TikTok — and she recently told People that the controversy around the post was "so stupid."

In the interview, Brittany also addressed the fact that fans are apparently still shipping Pamela and Tommy — or, as she describes it, "All the people being like, 'Oh, they need to be back together. They are each other's soulmates' and all this weird shit."

"I'm like, ‘You guys, my husband, if he wanted to be back with her, would be back with her in two seconds.’ They act like this is all new. They've been separated for a long time, even before I came along."

"It was just odd to deal with a lot of that stuff. I get that people try to romanticize things that they make up in their head or whatever, but it is really strange."

There's other stuff in the interview where Brittany goes after Pamela specifically, but recapping that is going to make feel even more gross than I already do, tbh. So just go and read it here if you're interested.
