The dawn of a new era of entertainment will arrive in Dubai with La Perle, a new show produced and created by Dragone, one of the world’s most revered cultural artistic directors. Located in the heart of Al Habtoor City, La Perle will be the region’s first permanent show boasting 450 performances per year in a tailor-made state-of-the-art aqua-theatre. La Perle is set to preview in mid-2017.

There's currently Las Vegas, Paris, and Macau, but nothing in between - until now! The theatre is situated between The Westin, Al Habtoor City, The St. Regis Dubai, W Dubai - Al Habtoor City and three magnificent residential towers.

3. It's produced and created by Franco Dragone

The legendary Franco Dragone, who's responsible for reinventing the genre of theatre and changing the face of live entertainment in Las Vegas. If you haven't heard of Dragone before, you will definitely know his shows including Celine Dion - A New Day, Le Rêve (Las Vegas) and The House of Dancing Water (Macau).

4. The venue is a tailor-made Aqua Theatre

A whopping 2.7 million litres of water will fill the aqua-theatre - which is constantly reused performance to performance and never wasted. The stage can be transformed from wet to dry in a matter of seconds. If you're a fan of water, you may want to get your poncho ready and book the SPLASH ZONE!

5. The cast features 65 artists from 23 countries

All of whom are the top of their game. There's also 70 technicians who will work on the show.

6. The cast have been training in the same venue that Star Trek Beyond was filmed

8. The technology used in the venue is out of this world

The theatre has the ability to ‘rain’ inside the auditorium and everything in the theatre is a projection screen; from the walls to the seats, floor and even the building’s stunning dome.

The theatre has an advanced sound system with integrated surround system and a live band who perform throughout the two shows nightly. There are speakers embedded in the walls behind the seats, as well as in multiples clusters, suspended from the ceiling in the middle of the auditorium – similar to many rock concerts
