11 Questions You Will Be Asked At Thanksgiving

We all know them and we all hate when they are asked. They are the questions that you are asked when you are at Thanksgiving with the family. Whether it be the questions you are asked whenever you are with family or the questions that are only related to Thanksgiving.

1. What are you thankful for?

It is quite possibly the most asked question around this time. For some of us out there, we love to answer it because its important to our character. For others, we always answer it we family and friends because after a while the question becomes annoying.

2. Are you ready for dinner?

OF COURSE I AM!!!! It is the one meal that we train our bodies for in the months leading up. It is the one meal of the year where we purposely try to see how much of the delicious food you can stuff in your mouth.

3. Whats your favorite Thanksgiving dish?

Mashed potatoes, green beans, the bird of the hour (the turkey). We always like to talk about food and this is the meal of the year that we talk about the most. So when asked this question, we love talking about it.

Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Pie, Pie, Pie, Pie. Need I say more.

5. Are you seeing anyone?

For the single folks out there, its the question we hate because we have to answer no and then have everyone give you the awkward stare. You can also lie and say yes but you will have to create a fake story about literally everything that has to do with "her/him"

For the ones that got into a relationship after the last time you saw your family, this is a happy time because you can finally answer yes and have it be the truth. Its a great feeling when your family starts asking all the questions like where did you meet, what are they like, etc.

For those of us in the long term relationships, it feels good to have the family ask how our significant other is doing. It gives you a sense that the family likes them and is accepts them into the family.

Just don't. The question we will lie about when asked about it because our answer will most likely be that it is going great, but in reality you feel like you are being crushed by a pile of papers the size of Everest.

The one question you are asked when your older relatives or even the relatives you don't see as often see you and can't remember what you are studying. The question gets annoying after a while.

Its GOSSIP time!!!! Your aunt as been drinking and now its time to hear the juicy gossip that she has found out. Whether it be your cousin losing all their money in Vegas or your uncle getting divorced, she has it and you want to hear it.
