It's crazy to say that half of the euthanasia cases were done with no consent and that the doctors are just killing whoever they want. Involuntary euthanasia is seen as a crime even in the places that have legalized euthanasia.

What percentage of euthanasia cases are involuntary in the Netherlands, or not asked for by the patient?

One myth about euthanasia in the Netherlands is that it has become a lazy chore for doctors and goes unreported two-thirds of the time, but that's false! Additionally, almost half of the unreported cases were done by nurses, NOT doctors.

How many cases of euthanasia go unreported in the Netherlands, a place where euthanasia is legalized?

Although euthanasia will save a small amount of money (less than 0.07% of the money spent on health care by the U.S), it is not going to save institutions or the nation as a whole enough money to persuade doctors to kill.

Will euthanasia eventually just become a means for health care providers and the government to save money and not have to pay for medical care, rather than helping patients?
