WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Simple Truth Unroll & Bake Pie Crusts
Flour

Jam of your choice

2 teaspoons milk

1 cup powdered sugar

Food coloring

Sprinkles

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT:

Heart-shaped cookie cutter

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 425ºF. Carefully unroll pie crust onto floured work surface and use cookie cutter to create heart shapes. Place a dollop (about 2 teaspoons) of jam into the center of one heart. Set a second heart on top and seal the tart closed with a fork. Move hearts onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for about 7 minutes (or until golden brown). While your tarts cool, whisk together milk, sugar, and desired food coloring until silky smooth. Spread frosting onto cooled tarts, top with sprinkles, and eat up!

2. Blood Orange Paloma

This cocktail is everything you love about your BFF: a little sweet, yet a little salty.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

¼ cup tequila

1 tablespoon lime juice

¾ cup Blood Orange Italian Soda

Ice

Pinch of salt

1 blood orange

DIRECTIONS:

Mix together tequila, lime juice, and blood orange soda and pour over ice. Sprinkle in a pinch of salt and use slices of blood orange for a colorful garnish!

3. Sweetheart Pizzas

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Pizza dough

Flour

Simple Truth Tomato Sauce

Basil

Shredded mozzarella cheese

Pepperoni (or other favorite toppings)

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT:

Heart-shaped cookie cutter

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to temperature specified on your pizza dough packaging. Sprinkle your work surface with a bit of flour and evenly roll out your dough. Use your cookie cutter to cut and shape the dough into a heart. Next, spread tomato sauce onto dough, and don’t forget to leave a small border for the crust. After washing and chopping the fresh basil, you are ready to pile on your cheese, herbs, pepperoni, and other go-to toppings! You can even cut the pepperoni into hearts to up the cute factor. Cook until the crust is golden and cheese is melted.

4. Chocolate-dipped Cookies

These adorable cookies are super simple and the perfect surprise for your work fam!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

White melting chocolate

Private Selection Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Cookies of your choice (we used wafers)

Assorted sprinkles

DIRECTIONS:

Melt white chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate chips in separate microwavable bowls for 30 seconds and stir. Repeat this method until chocolate is melted. Dip your cookies into the melted chocolate, then add your sprinkles! Set aside on parchment paper, let cool, and enjoy!

5. Three-cheese Ravioli Hearts

This ravioli recipe will make the perfect romantic dinner for you and your S.O.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

1 cup ricotta

1 cup Simple Truth Finely Shredded Mozzarella

¼ cup grated Parmesan (plus some extra for topping)

¼ teaspoon oregano

¼ teaspoon salt

Package of wonton wrappers

Olive oil or butter

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT:

Heart-shaped cookie cutter

Skimmer spoon

DIRECTIONS:

Stir together cheeses, oregano, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Use cookie cutter to create heart shapes from wonton wrappers. Wet the edges of two wonton wrappers, place 2 teaspoons of cheese filling into center of one wonton square, and carefully place second square on top. Use cookie cutter to cut ravioli into heart shape and cover with a damp cloth while preparing the rest. Next, bring a large pot of water to a boil and add pasta. After about 5 minutes, the pasta should float to the top and can be removed with a skimmer spoon (aka spoon with holes). Drizzle with olive oil or butter, and top with some extra Parm!

6. Raspberry Cheesecake Bites

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

4 tablespoons melted butter

¾ cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon flour

2 packages cream cheese

2 eggs

¼ cup sour cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Paper baking cups

DIRECTIONS:

Start by preheating oven to 325ºF and lining a muffin tin with baking cups. Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until you get a sand-like texture. Add about 2 tablespoons of this mixture into each paper cup, pressing down to compact the crust. Next, combine sugar and flour in a mixing bowl, then use an electric mixer to add cream cheese. Once this mixture is smooth, mix in eggs. Finally, stir in sour cream and vanilla. (Remember to tap the bowl a few times to release any air bubbles.) Divide cheesecake filling into paper cups so that they are nearly full. Add a few drops of raspberry spread onto each tart and swirl with a toothpick. Bake for 20–25 minutes, then cool in fridge for 3 hours or until set.

7. Gouda Grilled Cheese With Sweet Onion

Your mom will definitely appreciate this adult spin on an after-school classic.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

1 large sweet onion

4 tablespoons butter

Salt and pepper

Bread of your choice

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT:

Heart-shaped cookie cutter

DIRECTIONS:

First, cut your onion into long, thin slices. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet, then add onions and cover on high heat. Cook onions for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until soft. Continue to cook uncovered for 20 minutes or until onions are extra tender. Remember to add a small amount of water (¼ cup) if the pan starts to burn. Season with salt and pepper and set aside. Take two pieces of bread and cover one side of each with butter. Place onions and 2 slices of cheese onto one piece of bread and close sandwich. Cut into heart with cookie cutter and grill in a heated skillet for about 5 minutes, then flip to cook other side until cheese is gooey and melted!

8. Chocolate Popcorn Crunch

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

1 package Simple Truth Original Microwave Popcorn

Pink melting chocolate

Valentine chocolate candies

Sprinkles

White melting chocolate

DIRECTIONS:

First, pop your corn! Throw out any unpopped kernels and put the good stuff in a bowl. Next, place your pink melting chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Melt for 30 seconds, stir, and repeat until chocolates are fully melted. Pour the melted pink chocolate into the popcorn to coat in chocolately goodness. Mix in your Valentine chocolate candies and sprinkles. Melt the white chocolate, drizzle over your mixture, and top it off with some more sprinkles. Serve in a bowl or pack in bags for a to-go treat!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

1 bottle red wine

1 cup 100% Tart Cherry Juice

½ cup orange juice

2 cups club soda

Sliced fruit (we used oranges, limes, and cherries)

Ice

DIRECTIONS:

Combine wine, juices, and club soda in a large pitcher or punch bowl. Slice up some of your favorite fruits and throw 'em in. Don’t forget to add ice to keep your sangria nice and cool!

10. Peanut Butter Dog Treats

And don’t forget your favorite four-legged friend! Your pupper will go nuts for these tasty treats.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

2 ½ cups whole-wheat flour (plus extra for workspace)

½ cup Simple Truth Solid Packed Pumpkin

2 tablespoons peanut butter

2 eggs

Pinch of salt

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT:

Heart-shaped cookie cutter

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350ºF and line baking sheets with parchment paper. Combine flour, pumpkin, peanut butter, eggs, and salt with an electric mixer. The mixture should be stiff and dry, but you can add small amounts of water if needed. Add flour to workspace and roll out dough until it’s about a half-inch thick. Cut dough into desired shapes and transfer to baking sheets. Bake for about 40 minutes until hard, but keep an eye on ’em because baking time will vary based on the size of your treats.
