DIY Cardboard Halloween Costumes

Get krazy creative on your DIY Halloween Costume using Krazy Glue!

Pizza

Materials

  • 1x roll of 6-inch wide plastic cake collars
  • 1x plastic headband
  • Various fake fruits and vegetables
  • 2x Krazy Glue Wood Glue
  • 1x pencil
  • 1x sharp blade
  • 1x large straightedge
  • 1x 18-inch ruler
  • 2x 30x40 yellow mat boards
  • 2x 40x50 piece of cardboards
  • 2x large pieces of red cardstock
  • 24x thin wooden circles
  • 3x foam paint brushes
  • 1x rusty red acrylic paint
  • 1x green acrylic paint
  • 1x grey acrylic paint
  • 1x roll 6-inch wide plastic cake collars

Instructions

  1. Use a long straightedge to cut out a triangle with the 30x40 yellow mat board. This will be the cheese.
  2. Put the triangle on top of a large piece of cardboard and use the long straightedge to go off the top of each side at an angle to create the crust.
  3. Using Krazy Glue Wood Glue to adhere the yellow triangle to the cardboard crust. Let dry.
  4. Cut out a wavy diagonal cloud from red cardstock paper. This is the sauce.
  5. Use Krazy Glue Wood Glue to adhere the red sauce to the pizza.
  6. Make toppings out of thin circular wood pieces. Adhere them to the pizza using Krazy Glue Wood Glue. Let dry.
  7. Paint the toppings using acrylic paint and foam brushes. Let dry.
  8. Flip the pizza slice over and adhere strips of clear plastic cake collars using Krazy Glue Wood Glue.
  9. Make the reverse side of the pizza and put over the body using strips of plastic cake collars as shoulder straps.



Produce Bag

Materials

  • 2x Krazy Glue Max Bond Gel
  • 1x pair of scissors
  • 1x 18-inch ruler
  • 1x large roll of brown construction paper
  • 1x roll of 6-inch wide plastic cake collars
  • 1x plastic headband
  • Various fake fruits and vegetables


Instructions

  1. Unroll brown construction paper and cut at 3x width of body circumference.
  2. Fold down the top third of the paper.
  3. Lay the 18-inch ruler down in the middle and fold over each side. This will be the front of the produce bag.
  4. Measure four inches on the side and fold the paper back the opposite way. Measure four more inches and fold back the opposite way as that. This creates grocery bag side creases.
  5. Repeat on the other side.
  6. Adhere fake fruit, bread, and vegetables to the top of the brown paper using Krazy Glue Max Bond Gel.
  7. Adhere shoulder straps using plastic cake collar strips and Krazy Glue Max Bond Gel.
  8. Hold over the body and connect in the back using Krazy Glue Max Bond Gel.



Donut

Materials

  • 2x Krazy Glue Max Bond Gel
  • 1x pencil
  • 1x roll of twine
  • 1x pair of scissors
  • 2x large pieces of cardboard
  • 1x roll of pink seamless paper
  • 1x package of colorful packing peanuts
  • 1x plastic headband
  • 1x white cardboard coffee cup
  • 1x roll of 6-inch wide plastic cake collars


Instructions

  1. Lay down one large piece of cardboard.
  2. Use a pencil and twine to make two perfect circles. One small for the inner portion of the donut and one large for the actual donut. Cut.
  3. Lay cardboard donut on top of pink seamless paper and trace each circle. Cut.
  4. Use a pencil to draw wavy lines on the pink seamless paper. Cut. This will be the icing.
  5. Adhere the pink icing to the cardboard donut using Krazy Glue Max Bond Gel. Let dry.
  6. Adhere colorful packing peanuts onto the pink icing using Krazy Glue Max Bond Gel. This will be the sprinkles.
  7. Repeat for the backside of the donut.
  8. Adhere plastic cake collar straps to each donut using Krazy Glue Max Bond Gel.
  9. Place over the body with the plastic straps over each shoulder.
