Making exercise a part of a young woman's life is very important especially when it helps one physically and mentally. Being on a sports team, having the right nutrition is critical this way ones bones and muscles stay strong and healthy to keep you moving.

When a softball player realizes that they are improving in their skills and excelling in their positions, they feel a sense of accomplishment and continue to perform that way.

Being able to prioritize sports within your personal can be pretty tricky but it is so worth it. Many players need to find an effective way to balance school, family, softball, friends, etc. However, many people are fortunate to have their closest friends on their softball teams so they are able to see them and play their favorite sport at the same time.

4. Networking/Communication

Having a group of people such as old coaches, former teammates, players, private instructors and parents are so important to have affiliated within your softball careers. Being able to have a personal connection with all of these individuals helps you grow as a person as well as helps you later in the future for any help or advice. Communication is key and especially being able to have all types of communication within a team is critical. Speaking up and being confident as well as honest is so important when having such a commitment with teammates and coaches.

Traveling is so much fun when you get to be a part of such a fun tournament all over countries and even states! Being able to travel with such an amazing group of people is the best feeling, especially when you get some wins within the weekend long tournaments.

Have you ever been so stressed that you wish there was a way to simply release it? Well here's your chance to go to the batting cages and just hit some balls for hours. Being able to be outside and run around the field, field some grounders, hit some balls to the outfield really helps keep your focus on something other then the big issues outside of the field. It gives your mind some time to relax and the plus side is to take your anger out on something that doesn't feel pain (the softball and bat).

7. Teamwork

Being around these group of girls is so important because over time they become your family and some of your best friends. However, it is still important to focus on the game and build up the best teamwork ever in order to crush the opponents. Like my coaches always said, "Teamwork makes the dream work".

8. Never Give Up

NEVER give up regardless of what it may be. Never give up on yourself, teammates, coaches, or even the game. Always push yourself and the others to achieve what they came to that field to do. No one will ever put you down because you built that teamwork to let them pick you back up when it all gets hard.
