14 Things Every EduGator Knows And Loves

Either you've graduated or are attending one of the best colleges of education in the country. These are the signs that you're a UF EduGator!

1. We are ranked #1 in the U.S. for our online graduate programs in education.

We're back to back champs in our online graduate degree program ranking! And we are constantly ranked in the top 25 best public education schools. AND we have pictures of cute dogs...

2. We have an illustrious history.

Since opening in 1906, our EduGators have been making history. So much has changed since these days, but the quality education and the power of teaching is evergreen.

3. The professors ensure our success.

EduGator Taylor Hill said, "I love how invested the professors are in our success in the program. I feel like because of how small our groups are, the professors are able to spend more one on one time with us and give us the extra help or advice if we need it.

4. Your classmates aren't your competitors, they're your friends and biggest supporters.

Your #cohorts are more than just classmates. You learn together and you grow together.

5. We're proud to have our own Development Research School that develops innovative teaching techniques across multiple demographics.

Shout out to P.K. Yonge! And it doesn't hurt that many of us get the opportunity to intern and work here with amazing students.

6. We love Norman Hall! It's filled with history and endearing quirks.

We're not sure if anyone ever named this tree (maybe Mr. Oak or the Tree of Knowledge?), but we sure are glad we get to walk through this beautiful courtyard every day. And we're excited for major renovations to begin in fall 2017.

7. The College of Education staff is ~totally awesome.~

The College of Education staff really is awesome. Whatever students or faculty need, our staff is here to help.

8. Our professors are conducting groundbreaking research.

Whether its innovating the way students learn online or improving reading practices in young readers, our faculty is always researching and advancing our field. Talk about #EduGatorSuccess!

9. We enjoy our daily walks through Norman Tunnel.

There's always new graffiti to see and friends to catch up with in our favorite tunnel.

10. Our college always puts on fun events.

Some of our favorites are the EduGator and Young Alumni Tailgates!

11. You hear the Gator Band practicing every fall semester...

We love it, but it is a little loud.

12. We have great student organizations. Our students love to get involved and give back.
