While Shawn Mendes got his start posting acoustic covers of his favorite pop hits, lately he's been too busy singing his own songs to bother with anyone else's.
Which is good and all, but sometimes a song is just calling out for the Mendes touch.
Case and point: One Direction's first post-Zayn single, "Drag Me Down."
The only thing missing from the funky, guitar-driven track is a fifth voice — Shawn's.
Fortunately, the Canadian cutie took a break from his busy schedule to record a completely swoon-worthy rendition of that very song.
