Premiere: The Go! Team Explore Beijing For "Did You Know?" Video

The quiet clip is the third of five music videos BuzzFeed Music will be premiering from the band’s new album, The Scene Between.

Indie-pop collective The Go! Team released their first album in more than four years yesterday and, to celebrate, they’re premiering five new music videos exclusively on BuzzFeed Music.

The group released the dreamy, sun-damaged video for album opener “What D’You Say?” on Monday and followed it up with the controlled chaos of the “Blowtorch” clip on Tuesday.

After two speedy, kaleidoscopic videos, the group has slowed things way down for “Did You Know?", which features Chinese musician Atom singing into the phone and wandering around Beijing at night.

Atom, whose vocals are featured on the song, plays drums in the Beijing-based band Hedgehog.

The simple, straightforward imagery was a direct result of bandleader Ian Parton’s songwriting process. “I was imagining it being sung down the phone,” he told BuzzFeed Music in an email.

"I wanted the video to be nice and straightforward, singing straight at us." He explained. "Atom is such an interesting character that I just wanted her personality to be the main thing about the video."

Explore the quiet corners of Beijing with Atom by watching the full "Did You Know?" video now.
