Mandy, champ that she is, put in one of those horrifying mouthpieces and recited simple sentences while pretending to cry. And Ellen had to figure out what she was saying.

But you really have to hand it to Mandy: She gave it her all. She approached that game like the seasoned actor she is, and did not mess around.

I want to commit to one thing in life half as much as Mandy Moore committed to screaming, "the donkey bucked my mom," with a huge piece of plastic in her mouth.

Especially because it reeeeally sounded like she was saying the donkey...did something to her mom that sounds like "bucked" but is not "bucked," know what I mean?
