Meet Mr. Panzerotto

An Italian classic.

When I heard that Mr. Panzerotto moved into the neighborhood, I made sure to pay a visit. I even got this formal introduction:

It was nice getting to know Mr. Panzerotto, before I put anything in my mouth. I was impressed. Plus, he smelled good! Now I ~really~ wanted to see what Panzerotto was made of, so I took my time to ask some questions. Here is what I learned:

Mr. Panzerotto dough is made fresh.

It's filled with tomato sauce, mozzarella and oregano.

I bet you couldn't tell from the outside, but it's topped with another layer of mozzarella ( just to make it more cheesy)!

Then folded over to make its shape.

Afterwards, it's forked around the corners to seal all the goodness inside.

Then fried to perfection.

Tuh duh!

Mr. Panzerotto was definitely with the wait!
