What To Do With A Biology Major

I'm a junior at the University of Kentucky and I'm double majoring in Biology and Neuroscience. Every time someone asks me what my major is as soon as I tell them they assume that I'm pre-med (which I am), but there are other things that you can do with these majors. Right now I'm going to focus on what you can do with a biology major alone.

1. Biological Technician

A biological technician helps scientists to conduct experiments.

2. Biomedical Engineer

Biomedical engineers work in the healthcare field. They design products and help maintain them.

3. Environmental Scientist

Environmental Scientists study nature and work to minimize harm to the planet.

4. Health Services Manager

A Health Services Manager oversees health service professionals.

5. Medical Sales Representative

Medical Sales Representatives travel to different health care facilities to sale their healthcare products.

6. Nutritionist

A nutritionist works with people to help them live a healthy lifestyle.

7. Further Education

Via google.com

While not every Biology major has to be pre-med or go for a PhD it is still an option. There are many different options to continue learning and further yourself in your career.
