I have a fairly limited amount of time I dedicate to my beauty routine, and unfortunately for my hair, it *all* goes towards playing with makeup...meaning my 'do always ends up in a messy bun.

I also find blow-drying my hair time-consuming and boring, so I rarely do it — which is probably why I had my last hair dryer for about 10 years. It would leave my hair frizzy, and most times my arms would get so tired that I'd quit halfway through and end up with kinks and curls of the not-cute variety in random spots (hence the regular half bun).

But hey, there are times when I just need to quickly dry and style my hair (you know, so I can go out into the real world and do social things), so I needed a dryer that didn't make the act itself so dreadful.

There are plenty of reasons why I'm swooning over it but I will start with the basic features:

It has two speeds, three temperatures, and comes with a narrow and wide concentrator (which are used to help direct the air flow so your hair doesn't fly all over the place). Now, I know nothing about styling my hair with a blow dryer but I do like knowing that I have ~options~ with this tool, and I look forward to trying out some new looks thanks to the settings it offers.

The main thing I wanted to test out with this dryer is how fast it can thoroughly dry my mane. I have long, fine to medium hair, and LOTS of it, so it can take a while to get the job done.

I will note that it does look a tad big with the concentrator attached, but because it can be removed, the dryer itself can be easily packed for travel.

So...how long did it take? Oh, just a whopping 10 minutes.

Literally! Ten minutes. I even time-stamped these photos with Instagram to prove to the world that this thing works wonders. And while that maybe seems like a long time for some, it's taken me over a half hour in the past — so I'll take 10 minutes any day.

As for frizziness, it leaves me hardly any! My hair feels so silky smooth when I'm done using the dryer, and I don't have to rely on a straightener or any heat tools afterwards. It gives me straight, pretty hair that I can confidently walk out the door with (and that I know won't end up in a bun halfway through the day).

Another thing I adore about this dryer is how sleek and stylish it is.

I mean, the buttons are light pink and blue! And when you adjust the temperature, the light on the side changes colors so the higher you raise it, the more intense the pink gets. Ok, yes, it's a small thing, but the small things add up and it just makes me happy to look at!

Finally, its compact and lightweight design makes it suitable for travel (and for ensuring your arm doesn't fall off from holding it).

Again, it only took me 10 minutes to dry my locks! Depending on the amount of hair you have and your texture, of course, it may take you more or less time, but I will argue that it's reasonably lightweight regardless. And the size is small enough to pack, but powerful enough to get the job done efficiently.

People, get this dryer. I just know it's going to ~blow you away~.
