This week (September 25-29) is National Banned Books Week, a time during which the country defends culturally & historically challenged texts and celebrates the f**read**om to read without censorship. In honor of this week, Musselman Library wants to put your reading history to the test. Tell us how many books you've read from the American Library Association's list of frequently challenged books, and we'll let you know how diverse & revolutionary your reading habits are!

How much of a Rebel Reader are you?

You've dipped your feet into the pool of banned books, but you may still have a judgmental or hesitant voice in the back of your head. To get over your fears, stop by the main floor of Musselman Library this week (9/25-9/29) to learn a bit more about banned books or maybe even check one out....if you dare.

You've delved into some truly controversial topics that others clearly didn't want you to discover. Way to go! To kick it up a notch for Banned Books Week, challenge yourself to read something on the American Library Association's list of banned books with diverse content (http://www.ala.org/advocacy/bbooks/frequentlychallengedbooks/diverse).
