Surprise twist music fans! Selena Gomez and The Weeknd are officially dating. The pop star's romance lit on fire two weeks ago when PDA pictures outside a restaurant surfaced. Now, the pair are becoming more inseparable as Selena looks for something that isn't the "Same Old Love."
Could this be the man Selena has been searching for? Now that she's finally over bad boy Bieber, we sure hope so. According to a source, "They have a really sexy and flirty relationship. They laugh and like each other's personalities."
While the source claims the famous duo are "taking things slow," pictures of them outside of the trendy Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica prove otherwise. The lover birds were spotted kissing and hanging on each other as they enjoyed a steamy 3 hour date just the two of them.
Sadly, as is with all new relationships, drama is not too far behind. Looks like the star's famous exes aren't taking too kindly to the news of the singers coupling off. The Biebs was heard dissing The Weeknd, saying "Hell nah. That sh*t's wack," when asked if he listened to the rap music.
The rapper's ex, Bella Hadid, who he dated for over a year, also is showing her disfavor as she unfollowed Selena on Instagram after the news broke. When the supermodel's name was attached to The Weeknd's, rumors of him cheating on her were constantly circling. His songs even hint at possible infidelity as he's always saying "I only call you when it's half past five." So yeah, red flags galore.
All petty drama aside, Selena deserves a man who will treat her like the Queen she is. And, we sure hope her new beau can be that guy. Cheers to romance.
