Tiger Woods Is Back-ish

Tiger Woods golfed a fantastic under 5 at the British Open yesterday, but it was only good enough to tie him for 6th place. While not a return to Tiger's golf dominance, it was a marked improvement for the world's most famous golfer (who's been battling injuries).

The British Open – which featured some fans ejected for cursing, as others were hit by golf balls – landed the highest ratings since Tiger's Grand Slam win in 2000.

Tekashi 6ix9ine Kidnapped, Beaten and Robbed

Brooklyn born horror-core rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was hospitalized just hours after releasing his collab song Fefe with Nicki Minaj – when he was reportedly knocked unconscious, and then loaded into a van, after which gunmen proceeded to rob his house of over $750k worth of jewelry.

6ix9nine, while only 22, has had highly publicized beef with several prominent (and local) rappers, most notably Chief Keef. This event does not appear to be related to any existing beefs.

The Borat/Bruno/Ali G creator is back with his newest project "Who Is America?", where his focus has been embarrassing the living sh*t out of U.S. politicians.

While his first episode featured real (emphasis on real) politicians quoting Cardi B, and advocating for training 6 year olds in mortar and grenades, the second episode features Georgia representative Jason Spencer chasing a disguised Sacha with his butt (to turn him gay...seriously) and shouting the N-word.

Politicians are making excuses (they're politicians after-all), but perhaps it's best to watch the show for yourself and decide.

Documents Show Trump Adviser, Carter Page Was Wiretapped

One time Trump adviser and longtime oil industry consultant Carter Page was publicly disclosed to have been wiretapped by the FBI, after having been accused of being recruited by the Russians to sow misinformation.

On one side you have the Republicans claiming this is the exact kind of bias that makes Mueller's prosecution void. On the other you have Democrats claiming this is the exact kind of behavior that requires us to further investigate Trump's Russia ties. In the middle, are the American People.

The event, while significant, will likely not change anything until Mueller's report turns up conclusive results, or midterm elections change the balance of power in Congress.
