Mary Sue (female)/Gary Stu (male): a character who's design is too perfect, and can't be applied into a story as a normal and relatable/flawed character.

Is Your Character A Mary Sue/Gary Stu?

Does your character have unnatural eye color(s)/heterochromia?

Does your character have unnatural hair colors? (exception of dyed hair implied)

Does everyone that meets your character automatically like/fall in love with them?

Does your character have disabilities (that mostly don't even affect them)?

Is your character perfect/do they have any flaws (at all)?

Does your character's design have 3+ rainbows or cluttering patterns?

Does your character have 'flaws' that only show when it's convenient?

Is your character specifically designed to be edgy/dark?

And finally, do you think your character is a Mary Sue/Gary Stu?

Sorry my fellow character designer, but your character is just too over-the-top. Maybe try toning down a few things, like maybe color or design, and you'll be fine.

Wow, this is a good character! You don't need to change anything (unless you want to of course.) Your character is perfect in a positive, non-Sue way.

Your character is NOT a Mary Sue/Gary Stu!

Sure, you might need to adjust some of your character's design, but it isn't terrible. In fact, a lot of character creators use some of the tropes in this quiz. No need to worry about this character too much.
