Here Are Some Shows That'll Make You Feel All Cozy

Maybe it's the nostalgia of the nineties or the warm coffee shop aesthetic, Friends is a full-proof show for sitting down and curling up. This is the MVP of cozy shows, it'll really remind you of the good old days. Because we all have good old days where we lived in a fantastically huge apartment in New York with five of our closest friends available at all hours of the day. Watch it on Netflix.

Gilmore Girls

You thought that Friends had a warm coffee shop vibe? Gilmore Girls throws Friends out of the water with coffee references. I like to believe this one makes you feel all warm and fuzzy because it reminds you of younger days where it was always on the dearly departed ABC Family at random times. This show is the epitome of coziness and you can't prove me wrong. Watch it on Netflix.

New Girl

Less of that awww cute feeling, this one is all about the giggles. A show full of friendship, slow-burn romances and elaborate drinking games? It'll make you feel like you're back in college. Or back in that weird five years after college where you had to pretend to be an adult. This one really nails it.

Vampire Diaries

This one may seem like a weird choice, but let me break down my reasonings: A show about mystical creatures that takes place mostly in the dark with sweeping love stories that span several seasons. You may not be a fan of the supernatural trope, but you have to admit this show makes you want to turn off all the lights get into bed and watch Elena have some boyfriend problems. Queer Eye

This one gains cozy status, because of the weeping factor. That's right if you or your friends are the designated weeper of the group and has a tendency to cry at the drop of a hat then look into this show. I grew up on Tabatha's Takeover so finding a show with heartwarming influences and body-positivity was a real game-changer. Makes me want to go through a whole season and a whole pint of ice cream. The Voice

This one is also a weep-factor entry. If you love heartwarming backstories, Kelly Clarkson and amazing vocals then this is the show that's going to make you want to grab a hot chocolate and curl up. Watch it on Hulu.

Sabrina The Teenage Witch

This show has a little bit of something for everyone: teen angst, witches, a talking cat, and two fun-loving aunts. It really reminds me of my childhood ( a theme for this post) but most importantly it has no discernable over-arching plot and allows you to binge episodes in any order you want without any confusion. Coziest factor, however: the HOUSE. Tell me you wouldn't want to light a fire and curl up with a book in that house.
