Kahoot Now Has An "Assigned Names" Option And It's Honestly A Disgrace To Mankind

    *Silently cries*

If you're still in school, or are constantly on the internet, you've probably heard of the game, Kahoot.

If you haven't heard of Kahoot, it's basically a game where students answer questions. Based on correctness and speed, they get a certain amount of points. The object of the game is to have the highest score. Every kid will tell you that their classroom pretty much becomes the Hunger Games when playing Kahoot. You'll never see more students fight each other to answer a question first.

They'll also tell you that the best part of Kahoot is being able to come up with your own username. And Let me tell you, kids get VERY creative when they're allowed to choose their own names.

Kahoot saw that teachers were struggling to stop kids from using inappropriate names and decided to give teachers the option to ASSIGN USERNAMES TO STUDENTS.

And on TOP of that, to keep Kahoot "fun", the assigned usernames are...a type of animal and an adjective. So now, instead of being, profesional body builder and critically acclaimed actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, you get to be "Curious Cheetah".

Kahoot literally just took the fun out of their OWN GAME. And the internet is not happy about it either.

And you know that feeling you get when you have such a good meme reference to use as your Kahoot username that you're literally laughing to yourself? Yeah, well that feeling is GONE.

The name generator has been around for a little while now, but it seems to have just started being used. I guess you just have to hope your teacher doesn't press the "assign names" option, because seeing Lord Farquaad place first in a Kahoot on molecular biology is tbh too funny.

There's only one thing left to say to Kahoot about their recent update:
