Don Cheadle is a married man!
The Hotel Rwanda star revealed he secretly got married to his partner, Bridgid Coulter, during a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
However, guest host Wanda Sykes said she already knew that they were a married couple.
“You texted me at the top of the year, I guess, and you told me that you just got married,” Sykes said. “And I was like, ‘Oh, damn, the pandemic got to Don and Bridgid.’”
“I was like, ‘What the hell happened, man?'” she joked. “I think I just texted something back, like, ‘Hey, if you’re happy, I’m happy for you.’”
“I was like, ‘Cheadle went Hollywood,’” Sykes jokingly continued.
The comedian said she responded like that because she didn’t know Cheadle tied the knot until he sent her that text.
“Yeah, I mean, that’s understandable,” he told her. “I hold you blameless.”
Cheadle and Coulter have been dating since 1992 and they share their two daughters together.
