Bindi Irwin Shared A Sweet Family Photo Of Her Late Dad, Steve, Holding Her Baby In Honor Of Mother's Day

"To my beautiful daughter, always know that you are loved beyond description."

Bindi Irwin had the best Mother’s Day with her daughter, Grace.

The Wildlife Warrior, who celebrated the holiday her first time as a mom, took to Instagram today to share a cute photoshopped picture of herself and her family with her late dad, Steve Irwin, holding Grace.

"Celebrating my first Mother's Day. This day embodies the extraordinary gift of family," Bindi wrote. "Thank you to 'The Monkey Brush' for bringing my family and Chandler's together in these stunning works of art.”

Bindi continued, “I wish we could all be together but sometimes life has other plans. ❤️To my beautiful daughter, always know that you are loved beyond description."

Chandler also shared a sweet picture of himself, Bindi, and Grace together in honor of the holiday.

“Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing wife❤️,” he captioned the pic. “This is your first Mother’s Day yet it feels like you’ve been doing this forever. Grace and I are both lucky and grateful to have you in our lives. We love you so much.”

In 2006, Steve died after he was pierced in the chest by a stingray barb. Sadly, the Crikey! It’s the Irwins star never got to meet his adorable granddaughter.

Bindi spoke about how sad she was that Grace will never get to meet her father during a sneak-peek clip of her new show, Crikey! It's a Baby.

It's devastating because I'll never get to watch their connection,” she said. “But I cannot wait to be able to tell beautiful Grace all of these stories about Dad, to be able to share with her what an amazing father he was.”

Bindi looked like she had a great time with her family on Mother’s Day. Steve would be so proud of the parent his little girl has turned out to be.
