Andie MacDowell's New "Badass" Hairstyle Is All Thanks To Quarantine And Her Daughters

“My daughters kept telling me I looked badass."

Quarantining looks good on Andie MacDowell! The actor has a new look and just shared that it's inspired by her daughters Rainey and Margaret Qualley.

The sisters convinced their mom to stop dyeing her hair brown after they saw how beautiful her gray locks looked in quarantine.

“Obviously I've stopped coloring my hair," Andie said of her new salt-and-pepper look on The Drew Barrymore Show. "I don't know what's going to happen in five years, I might color my hair again, but I'm enjoying it right now."

The actor said she decided to keep her gorgeous hairstyle after her girls told her she looked like a complete “badass.”

“My daughters kept telling me I looked badass and the idea that I could look badass really appealed to me, so I went for it,” Andie said.

“I'm enjoying it. I'm salt and pepper. It's silver. It's not gray,” Andie continued. “And it's not that I'm letting myself go. I don't think of it that way.”

The Groundhog Day star said she loved the style even more when she met a man with the same hair color at the grocery store.

“We both just shot a look to each other and I was like, ‘I'm a silver fox.’ So that's where I am right now,” she gushed. “I thought I looked good.”

Andie was so right. The salt-and-pepper look is really working for her!
