    I Tried A Weighted Blanket

It is a lot heavier than expected.

    A Weighted Blanket

A weighted blanket is a heavier blanket. The type I had was filled with pellets or beads to make it weigh15 pounds. The blanket is designed to fit a person's body.

A weighted blanket is designed to ease anxiety, increase oxytocin in the brain (Also known as the cuddle hormone), and help people with sensory processing disorders feel more relaxed.

    My Experience

When I first started using it, I struggled to sleep. At first, I found the blanket uncomfortable and difficult to move. After using it for a while I was able to sleep, but I saw no benefits.

I tried to put it in a duvet cover, but If I tried to make my bed or I turned in my sleep, it would consistently fall out. It was too heavy to stay tied up.

One of the biggest problems I faced was waking up very uncomfortable or sore.

    Conclusion

I think the blanket may help some, but not others. I do not think it should be used for everyday use. However, it may be beneficial to those who have chronic anxiety or other problems.
