But it turns out, she's not immune from accidentally saying the wrong thing.
That is what happened on Monday's episode of The View, where Whoopi was presenting a new topic for discussion when she misspoke in a way that left her cohosts having a ball.
"A poll of 2,000 adults in the UK found that, when people travel, cuisine is more important to them than landmarks or bitches," she said.
"Beaches!" she quickly clarified.
This sent all four of her costars laughing out loud, before Whoopi apologized and jokingly pointed blame at the show's producer, Brian Teta.
Ana Navarro had a moment with the flub. "I will travel anywhere for a good bitch," she said.
The conversation quickly moved on to discussing travel priorities, with Sunny Hostin saying she's new to traveling for food. Conversely, Ana, Sara Haines, and Alyssa Farah Griffin all agreed food is a major component when taking a trip.
Finally, Ana gave credit to the late Anthony Bourdain and his travel show Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown for changing her relationship with traveling for food.
