You are always trying to mediate arguments between your friends and frequently debate the difference between fair and equitable.
Participate in a mock trial and then meet with representatives from the NAACP Youth Council to discuss the intersection between civil rights and criminal justice!

CIVIL RIGHTS/CRIMINAL JUSTICE TRACK

You are always seen as the teacher of your friend group, and you are naturally the leader of group projects.
Work with elementary school students from Shearn Elementary by tutoring and playing games!

Work with Israel Teen Ambassadors and Stand With Us on a dynamic afternoon filled with advocacy exercises!

ANTISEMITISM/ISRAEL ADVOCACY TRACK

You never go shopping without your reusable bag, and carry your hydroflask everywhere. Participate in hands-on sustainability activities and learn how to make Houston a more green city!

SUSTAINABILITY TRACK

You want a more hands-on approach when it comes to solving problems, and you don't mind getting a bit dirty! Help renovate a home badly damaged by Hurricane Harvey. This project will last all day, and extra service hours are included.

DISASTER RELIEF TRACK

You go out of your way to make new friends, and love including people! Throw a party for residents of The Center, a home for Houstonians with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

DISABILITY AWARENESS TRACK

You helped organize your friends to attend the March for Our Lives and you are very passionate about politics. Learn with a panel of activists from March for Our Lives, Moms Demand Action, and Texas Gun Sense and find out how you can help prevent gun violence today!

GUN VIOLENCE/SAFE SCHOOLS TRACK

You always carry granola bars and water bottles in your car for homeless Houstonians. Travel to the Open Gate center which feeds homeless youth and hear from local entrepreneurs who started food-focused non-profits!

HUNGER TRACK

You loved hearing stories of when your great-grandparents moved to America, and remember that we were once strangers in a strange land. Enjoy an afternoon potluck with Muslim refugees, play games at their community center, and find ways we are stronger together.

IMMIGRATION/REFUGEES TRACK

You love learning about other religions and you have a wide variety of friends. Join with teens from a variety of religious backgrounds and enjoy fun activities that highlight all we have in common!

INTERFAITH TRACK

You love finding new ways to bring calm into your life, and you are often known as the therapist of your friend group. Participate in Sources of Strength, a cutting-edge mental health training, and find ways to highlight the strengths we each have.
