Hey friends, ever wonder who on NDSC you're most like? If you answered no, then you're doing NDSC wrong. The possible results are: Zosia, Pebbles, Julia, Kevin, Chandler, Teresa, Lauren Czaja, Nuggets, Brendan, Kelly, Clare, and Stephen. Don't know who they are? On a scale of 1 to Kelly Wentland, how much do you love Kevin Best?

You got Zofia! Though she may not show up to practice much (or at all) (but really she’s been to like what, 3 practices?), Zofia is the mom of the team, often reminding us that hangovers are not on the packing list for swim meets. Her best friend is her pet bird named Pumpkin that can actually do pretty sick stuff dogs can’t (cats aren’t even on the same level tbh). Don’t mess with her, or you may receive one of her strongly worded emails that can destroy your soul through the computer screen. It’s an important skill to have if you want to be as successful and intimidating as Zosia.

Zofia "Team Mom" Zdanowicz

You got Tom! This must mean that you love three things in life: fishing, going to bed at 10:00pm every night, and vacations with Kevin Best. If Kevin is Team Dad, then Tom is dad’s twin. He’s so fit we’re pretty sure he could scale Mount Everest bare-handed while buddy breathing and sprinting up the last leg of the hike. What does Tom do in his free time? Picks up trash in the ocean. The only appropriate response to the things he says during practice is just simply: “um wtf?” Other Tom things: "Race me in a 50 breaststroke - I dare you. No seriously, race me. You won't." "Did I hear that someone wants to race me? You can do freestyle and I'll to be breaststroke. That way, it'll be fair."

Tom "Pebbles" Hutchison

You got Julia! Julia is a senior MechE, often seen knitting in her classes. Yes you read that correctly. She once made a hat for her Thermodynamics professor’s baby. Is Julia dating Stephen or Kevin? We’re not even sure. Also did you know she met Ed Sheeran? Ask her about it, Jk don’t, ain’t nobody got time fo’ that. She also has a dog named Bear. I bet she’s never told you about him before. If any animal ever comes up in conversation, be prepared to learn EVERYTHING about it. And more.

Julia Canty

You got (Thomas) Kevin! Our glorious president. Fearless leader. Senior MechE (if you didn’t get that from just talking to him). Yes his real name is Thomas, and no I’m not over it. If you talk to him, his giddy personality is always great to listen to. What will this team be without him next year?! Tbh he’s the glue that holds us together. It’s probably from going to bed at 8 PM on weekdays and 10 pm on weekends (like how?!). Also, friend him and check out his photos on Facebook one day, you won’t regret it, 100% worth it, 189353/10 would highly recommend.

(Thomas) "Kevin" Best

Chandler? Who's Chandler? OH, he's the guy that barely comes to practice, but hosted us that night. Did someone say OCEAN?! Chandler Bowden Moorer will be the first one there. This former beach lifeguard lives and breathes for the salty air. It’s no wonder he took up swimming. If asked about what animal he could be and why, he’d probably answer “dog” before you had a chance to finish the question. Chandler is known for his intense dorm pride – ask him if he lives in Keough or O’Neill to get a great reaction video. Oh, did we mention he likes dogs?

Chandler Bowden Moorer

Are you a badass that throws non-alcoholic parties during quiet hours? Belle yeah, you’re Teresa Niehaus. Who’s house? Niehaus. She likes to talk really fast and get excited when the clock reads 4:44.44. IM set? Belle no. She only does freestyle. If she don’t say hi to at least 5 random people in the dining hall, we know something is wrong. Even though she doesn’t even go here, she knows way more people in the dining hall than you. Don’t let her fool you, she didn’t really didn’t hit her head on that sign.

Teresa "Teeny House" Niehaus

Have you ever woken up and just thought “Wow, I really wish I could destroy my body at swim practice today!” Well then coach Lauren Czaja’s practices are not for you. They’re softer than puppy fur. JK they’re straight up murder. When she’s not laughing at horror movies, she enjoys softly ignoring you while passing in the halls of debart. But admittedly you can’t help but find her casual judgment to be incredibly endearing. On top of being a great team leader and a great person to joke around with, she’s also very dedicated to the beautiful sport of swimming that we all know and love.

Lauren Czaja

Jon, Juan, Nuggets, Nugsy? When will it end? Does he even have a real name? No one really knows. He likes posting in the GroupMe even when no one responds, and thrives off of GroupMe likes. But also he’s been kicked out of GroupMe’s more times than every other person on the team combined, so if you’re looking to start some drama, kick him out. Do it you won’t. Did you know he works at SDH? He’s probably never mentioned it before. If you have any complaints about your dining experience, please direct them to jjuan@nd.edu and he’ll take care of it. He basically owns the place. “Forget Tinder, ladies, find me on ND JobBoard!”

Jon "Nuggets" Juan

Who's Brendan? You'll find him at the front of the A lane, being intimidatingly fast, but, like, also pretty nice. He'll also never remember the last half of any night out, but who needs to anyway. Brendan's from New York and is trying to join NYFD, which is pretty damn cool. The team doesn’t really know that much about him. He should come more. He and Mike Dillane are also pretty inseparable, and they're both civil engineers. MechE’s and ChEg’s argue who’s better, can both agree that CivE’s are lame. Be glad that you're most like Brendan but also not a civil.

Brendan "Please don't give me a nickname" Woods

Ah, Kelly Wentland. She’s our fearless social chair. She often comes to officer meetings rather … ill-prepared (see pic). “I have an exam the next day, can we move the meeting pls?” Does she have an unhealthy obsession with Kevin? Yes. Yes she does. She answered Kevin Best is her favorite late-night snack, which is funny but a bit concerning. And since you got her, that means you do too. For the record, she’s dating someone else.

Kelly "I <3 Kevin Best" Wentland

Teresa … wait no sorry, Clare. Clare Gaylord? More like you get what you PAID FOR. Don’t let her size deceive you; she has an impressive timidness to match. She’s able to stay so sweet and innocent by taking her anger out on us in her sets like it’s the Purge: Anarchy. Tbh, we don’t trust her. Call me cynical, but no one can be that friendly and adorable all the time. What is she planning/hiding from us??? Also, not to start anything, but I hear she’s not even friends with Teresa and once cussed out Kevin for accidentally forgetting to invite her to the Western Michigan meet. Don’t trust her. We warned you.

Clare Gaylord

Don’t know who Stephen is? Neither do we. He’s the one who sent you that threatening email about paying your dues (@John Quinlan). He’s probably the only person on the team who knows more people than Teresa. YQY! Apparently it means YAS QUEEN YAS. He likes to stay up-to-date with the lingo of the children.
