I, An A.P. Bio Student, Watched The First Episode Of NBC's A.P. Bio And Had A Lot Of Thoughts

the number of clichés are endless *contains some spoilers*

the goth, the cute girl nerd, the guy nerd, the emo, the emotionally unstable shy girl, the bully

double cliché

that sounds too scripted

seriously if they are high school juniors/seniors how would they have time to meet up after school and write a rap and buy matching costumes

I, An A.P. Bio Student, Watched The First Episode Of NBC's A.P. Bio And Had A Lot Of Thoughts

1. Hi, my name is Jenna, and I am currently in an AP Bio class as a junior in High School. Of course when I found out that NBC was creating a show called A.P. Bio, I knew I had to compare it to the real thing. Here are my thoughts after the first episode.

2. Ok so it starts out with a classroom full of students that all look at least 20, are actual high schoolers not good enough for this show?

3. Also if this is an AP Bio class, where are the lab stations?

4. This is not safe, where is the safety shower and fume hood? What kind of Bio class is this?

5. Ok so it's not actually AP bio, it's going to be some sort of story about a washed up Harvard man who learns to love teaching

6. If this happened in my school, the kids would have texted their parents and the school would have gotten 100 calls asking for their child to get a new teacher

7. This principal guy is a real pushover

8. So the school can afford a fancy banner to welcome the freshmen but not a chair?

9. So many clichés

10. Oh so the emo is also a satanist, ok

11. I wish to be that level of petty, he literally just gave his nemesis a 1 star book review while on the phone with him

12. the teacher is kind of cute so that's a plus

13. "hey freak thats a nice backpack give me your backpack"

14. oh now they are rapping

15. oh so he's in prison now, I bet he did something stupid

16. yep, he peed somewhere he shouldn't have

17. wow another cliché! the gym teacher is stupid and makes them do push ups

18. wow good job devon, I support you. stand up to those bullies

19. now the bully is in the class, yeah that's not allowed

20. also AP Bio is a double period class, how does he have room in his schedule

21. if this was really an AP Bio class someone would have complained about not being prepared for the exam by now

22. Conclusion: This is nothing like high school

23. Anyways, this was pretty entertaining and the episodes are short, so why not give it a watch and see what you think

24. I'm not a huge fan of high school shows that have so many clichés, but hopefully there's some character development
