Except it's actually the work of Manchester-based photographer Jon Parker Lee who says he did it to try and take some of the anger out of the debate: "We're not making a point for either side. We've staged this together as a group of Scots and English."

It's not exactly clear how Scotland and the rest of the UK could maintain separate immigration policies without patrolling the border between the two countries. Though despite apparent warnings from some politicians passport checks remain *highly* unlikely.
